We are looking for candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset, a pleasant personality, and a genuine interest in finance and entrepreneurship for our office in central Stockholm. The role is part-time starting immediately, with the goal that the right candidate will be offered a permanent position.

ABOUT US
PEQ is a Swedish private equity firm that, through its funds, invests in and develops small and medium-sized Swedish companies, where we together can contribute to sustainable development and new technological advancements. PEQ consists of a dedicated team with broad competence and extensive experience within private equity, corporate management, and entrepreneurship.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

– Analyze investment opportunities, including financial modeling, industry analysis, and risk assessment
– Assist in financial, legal, and commercial due diligence processes
– Assist in negotiations and structuring of investments as well as exit processes
– Actively review and support the strategic initiatives and performances of portfolio companies

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

– Strong educational background in economics, finance, or engineering
– Experience from relevant internships or other work experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or equivalent experience demonstrating entrepreneurial drive and the ability to work in a demanding climate
– Fluent in Swedish and English
– Good communicative skills (verbal and written) with a self-driven mentality and the ability to get things done
– Advanced knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint

We stand on Swedish grounds, focusing on global challenges. Our focus is on companies active in cleantech, changing demographics, and tech enablement. Our vision is to help the companies grow and pursue their impact objectives.

We invest in our portfolio companies as majority shareholders and finance our investments with both equity and loans. We take on an active owner approach and work together with the company management, driving and supporting systemic, integrated mid-term growth efforts. Together, we tend to focus on 3-4 development initiatives with a clear exit strategy already at time of acquisition.

The companies we invest in must share our values of sustainability. To assure investment in innovative and well-run businesses, we perform comprehensive research before purchase. Among other things, we involve industry advisors and perform a complete ESG due diligence.
